"BREAK THE LINE"
This image embodies the struggle between darkness and light, between the past that holds us back and the future that calls us forward. A single hand reaches out from the shadows, breaking through the divide, yearning for the openness of the bright sky beyond.
It is a reminder that we must interrupt the darkness within us—the fears, doubts, and negativity—and choose to move toward light, hope, and freedom. The journey is not always easy, but the first step is reaching out.

"PARAWALL"
The shadows on the wall form shapes and patterns, creating a subtle, ever-changing scene. They move quietly, as if trapped in a small, separate world. Each shift of light changes their form, adding a new layer to the scene.

"STARE"
While I was photographing at a train station in Bangkok, this woman kept staring at me. Even when I pointed the camera at her, she didn't look away. Oh, and she really liked the photo.

"IN THE MOMENT"
One of my absolute favorite pictures. During a break on a bench, I watched this little girl chase pigeons for minutes. Her parents sat in the background. My camera was lying - still switched on - beside me on the bench. But I had no intention of taking a photo of her. When she ran in my direction, I instinctively pressed the shutter without picking up the camera.
When I saw the image, I immediately felt warmth in my heart. A picture of unconditional joy and a perfect example of what it looks like to live IN THE MOMENT. Children have this gift before we and the world take it away from them. Since then, I’ve kept this photo as a symbol of staying in the moment. Enjoying things as they are and finding joy in what’s right in front of me. Thank you, little girl!

"BEING A CHILD"
A bright, sunny day. The bicycle. A park. Water. And being fully present in the moment. These are the kinds of days we all recall from our childhood. It’s a feeling we can still embrace, if we only decide to.

"BACK TO 1986"
The whole scene reminds me of a past time, primarily because of the telephone booth. I’ve decided to let myself be transported back to 1986 every time I look at the picture.

"INNER CALM"
Amidst the chaos of Bangkok, between the stress, the noise of tuk-tuks, scooters, and cars, this man caught my attention. He was completely absorbed in himself, undisturbed by anything or anyone, and he relaxed for a long time on those stairs. When I passed by again on my way back, he was still there. The power of calm.

"BIRDS VS HUMANS"
These birds swarmed frantically around the radio tower, their movements erratic and restless. Watching them, I couldn't help but see a reflection of our own impact—how our relentless pursuit of progress carves into nature, disrupting its balance, forcing wildlife to adapt to an ever-shrinking world. This scene was a stark reminder that every structure we build, every advancement we celebrate, comes at a cost—a cost that nature is forced to bear.

"ONE"
Side Fact: In the first attempt, the man briefly changed direction because he thought he was disturbing me while I was taking my photo. That's why I asked him if he could walk the path again. In a way, it was a staged photo. Psst. Don’t tell anyone.

"TALKING EYES"
A friend of mine – who is also a (very talented!) street photographer – told me that this picture is her absolute favorite. When I asked why, and mentioned that it bothers me that her eyes aren't in perfect focus, she said: "That's totally irrelevant. Because her gaze... her facial expression completely captivates you. Her eyes say so much, yet the viewer has no idea and is left with room for interpretation."
So I asked her what she would call the picture, and she said: "Talking Eyes."
Thank you, Manu. :)

"TALKING EYES"
After a while, she started talking to a stranger. At first, very cautious and reserved, it was nice to see her smile. Children often don't need much, just a little attention and affection. Photos that still evoke a deep feeling in me whenever I see them.

"LOVE IS BLIND"
To see the person – not their skin color. No one embodies this worldview better than children. That’s why the silhouette of a little girl completes the picture, interacting with the profiles in the background.
